Who We Are

We’re Ryan and James—travelers, creatives, and nature lovers who fell in love with this hidden corner of the Catskills. When we travel, we’re always drawn to places that feel intentional and a little off the beaten path, and this house gave us that feeling from the start. We’ve put real care into making it comfortable, welcoming, and uniquely ours—and we love getting to share that with guests who value peace, nature, and design.

Honestly, we didn’t pick the neighborhood—the house chose us. The moment we stepped onto the deck and saw the sweeping mountain views, we were hooked. You can see all the way to the Berkshires in Massachusetts, the Rhinecliff Bridge over the Hudson River, and the Shawangunk Ridge—sometimes even catching a glimpse of the Mohonk Mountain House when the light hits just right. The house sits at the very end of a private road, perched on a cliff, and is surrounded by forever-protected state land. After a rainstorm, you can even hear the water rushing down the waterfalls in the ravine below. It’s peaceful and secluded, yet just 10 minutes to the heart of Woodstock—offering the best of both worlds.

This home is all about connection—to nature, to light, and to each other. The cliffside setting offers total privacy, with no other homes in sight and unobstructed views in every direction. The layout is bright and open, with very few doors yet plenty of separation between spaces. It creates an airy, welcoming feel while still offering moments of quiet retreat.
